Program Dance in the city
I am recognized, therefore I exist. A woman in distress. She wears a handmade suit made of pieces of broken mirror. If we look closely, we’ll find a fragment of our own image on her. If we step back, we’ll see her surroundings reflected on her. The woman wears the gaze of the world and traps us in the game of reflection, returning our image to us. What does she reveal and what does she hide with her appearance? What do we see in others and what do others see in us? What do we recognize? Can we exist without the gaze of others?
Admission to all Kalamata Main Square performances and side events is free for all.
