KDFMCA Kids’ Art Contest 2020

Kids’ Art Contest at the Museum of Cycladic Art

“I AM… How I see myself”

7th Kids’ Art Contest at the Museum of Cycladic Art

This year’s 7th Kids’ Art Contest at the Museum of Cycladic Art, entitled “I AM… How I see myself”, invites the Museum’s younger friends to introduce themselves to the world as they see themselves or as they want to be seen by others, on the occasion of… a mirror.

The Museum of Cycladic Art invites children aged 4-15 (pre-school children and students from all grades of primary and secondary school) to draw inspiration from a bronze mirror from Cyprus, dating from 1200-1050 BC, which is located on the 3rd floor of the Museum, in the exhibition titled “CYPRUS – ANCIENT ART AND CULTURE”.

This year, for the first time, students from the wider region of Kalamata who will participate in the contest will see their artworks presented in July at an exhibition that will take place at the Kalamata Dance Megaron, within the framework of the 26th Kalamata International Dance Festival!
