The 27th Kalamata Dance Festival implements safety measures against the pandemic, closely following the health protocols dictated by the authorities and the special safety  measures for art and culture.

Following the instructions of the Ministry of Culture and Sports and the implementation of  protection measures, there may be changes in the venues of the performances depending on the development of the pandemic at a national and local level. Please stay tuned to the Festival website and social media.

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE PUBLIC FOR EACH VENUE

KALAMATA CASTLE AMPHITHEATRE

 

1. Spectators are kindly requested to arrive at the theatre 45 minutes before the start of the performance, in compliance with the health authorities’ instructions.

2. It is mandatory for spectators to use a non-medical mask, through all the Festival’s performances, when entering, during the whole performance, as well as when leaving.

3. During their entrance and exit from the venues, audience members must maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 metre between them, following the instructions of the Festival’s personnel as well as the respective signage, so as to avoid crowding. Towards this goal, the audience is not permitted to linger in the common areas of the venues.

4. There is no intermission.

5. Spectators should follow the ushers’ instructions for taking their seats.

6. Audience members are not allowed to move to seats, different than those indicated in their ticket or by the ushers.

7. Following the end of the performance, spectators should follow the instructions of the Festival’s personnel for their gradual departure from the venue.

KALAMATA DANCE MEGARON

Performance BKLDOG by the BOTIS SEVA company

1. The performance BKLDG:BOTIS SEVA is carried out in accordance with the terms of operation of closed theaters. In this context, following recent announcements by the Greek government, for the specific performance spectators need to have completed their Covid 19 vaccination process (with at least 14 days to have elapsed since the last vaccination).

2. For their entrance to the venue spectators have to present a Digital Covid-19 vaccination certificate (which is valid on the condition that a fourteen (14) day period has elapsed since final vaccination) along with an identification document. Or a certificate confirming that the holder was tested positive with Covid 19. The certificate is issued 30 days after the day of the first positive COVID-19 test and is valid for 180 days after it.

3. Persons under the age of eighteen (18) enter with a self-test declaration made by either any parent or guardian. No physical presence of the parent or guardian is required.

4. Spectators are kindly requested to arrive at the theatre 60 minutes before the start of the performance, in compliance with the health authorities’ instructions.

SAINOPOULEIO AMPHITHEATRE – SPARTA

 

1. Spectators are kindly requested to arrive promptly at the theatre 75 minutes before the start of the performance, so as to avoid crowding in compliance with the health authorities’ instructions.

2. It is mandatory for spectators to use a non-medical mask, through all the Festival’s performances, when entering, during the whole performance, as well as when leaving.

3. During their entrance and exit from the venues, audience members must maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 metre between them, following the instructions of the Festival’s personnel as well as the respective signage, so as to avoid crowding. Towards this goal, audience is not permitted to linger in the common areas of the venues.

KALAMATA MAIN SQUARE

 

1. Spectators are kindly requested to arrive at the theatre 45 minutes before the start of the performance, in compliance with the health authorities’ instructions.

2. Performances at the Main Square of Kalamata will take place in an organized and demarcated space, with chairs.

3. Spectators will be able to attend seated by acquiring a free admission pass, in order of priority, and upon registering their contact details due to Covid-19 measures.

4. It is mandatory for spectators to use a non-medical mask, through all the Festival’s performances, when entering, during the whole performance, as well as when leaving.

5. During their entrance and exit from the venues, audience members must maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 metre between them, following the instructions of the Festival’s personnel as well as the respective signage, so as to avoid crowding.
