Kids’ Contest at the Museum of Cycladic Art 

“KALLOS: For me, this is Beauty” 

9th Kids’ Art Contest at the Museum of Cycladic Art

Inspired by the archaeological exhibition “KALLOS: The Ultimate Beauty”, this year’s 9th kids’ contest at the Museum of Cycladic Art is entitled “KALLOS: For me, this is Beauty” and will be taking place online for the second time!

From December 15, 2021 until April 17, 2022, children can take part in the contest on our digital platform, while in May they will participate in the corresponding “digital” exhibition.

Within the framework of this contest, the Museum of Cycladic Art will once again be collaborating with the Kalamata International Dance Festival. Children from Kalamata who will take part in the contest, will get to see their works featured in an exhibition hosted at the Kalamata Dance Megaron in July as part of the 28th Kalamata International Dance Festival!

Through a game reminiscent of puzzles, this year’s contest invites children to contemplate and create images that capture the meaning of beauty to them. Think of beauty as a set of images and as a combination of various features. Where does beauty lie for you, and what does it consist of?
