MUSEUM OF CYCLADIC ART
A JOURNEY THROUGH TIME
Excavation, fragments, sounds, movement, creation. A hands-on journey through the Cyclades.
In this workshop, children become time explorers, experiencing the thrill of an excavation and bringing buried secrets to light: fragments of Cycladic culture, small pieces of stone.
As the findings come to life, the Cyclades emerge on a relief map, and the children create their own island complex, listening to the sounds of the landscape.
Using clay and plaster, the children craft their own objects, like artisans of the past, while also engaging with the present. Through body percussion, the experience transforms into sound and movement — the body becomes a storytelling tool, and culture becomes a game.
