KALAMATA DANCE MEGARON – ALTERNATIVE STAGE
In an attempt to slow down, listen, look carefully, breathe deeply, lose oneself and dream, we ponder again on how we can exist in this world.
What are the bodies of our time? is a duet that reflects on the present and articulates questions about the future in an attempt to activate the imagination and reflect on the titular query.
Two performers stand side by side and opposite us: we look at them and they look at us, we observe them as they create kinetic and sonic patterns that culminate in a rhythmic gallop that resonates in space. Tracing the connections between movements, phrases and sounds, What are the bodies of our time? seeks to make a place for togetherness, a shared space where imagination permeates reality, creating an endless vortex of thoughts and sensations.
