F. Costopoulos Foundation, with the aim of researching and creating new artistic work in dialogue and direct engagement with the local community. Participants are encouraged to develop methodologies involving workshops, interviews, participatory actions, or other forms of co-creation, exploring the relationship between body and city, memory and community, collective experience, everyday life, public space, local identity, and contemporary life.<\/p>\n<p>By \u201ccommunity\u201d we mean the residents of the city, as well as collectives, organisations, groups, and structured communities active in the area, connected through shared interests, experiences, characteristics, or fields of action. Artists are invited to engage in meaningful dialogue with these individuals and networks, actively incorporating them into the research and creative process and fostering practices of participation and collective experience.<\/p>\n<p>The Programme aims:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to support new artistic creation from the Greek dance scene,<\/li>\n<li>to strengthen the relationship between art and society,<\/li>\n<li>to cultivate meaningful engagement with the local community,<\/li>\n<li>to create space for experimentation, research, and exchange,<\/li>\n<li>to develop artistic practices that activate civic participation,<\/li>\n<li>to foster public dialogue through art.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This initiative forms part of the year-round activation of the Kalamata International Dance Centre and is part of a broader curatorial direction that seeks to strengthen the relationship between artistic creation and the social space in which it unfolds. Applicants are welcome to submit proposals relating to works in progress or new iterations of previous works.<\/li>\n<li>In addition, artists responding to the open call must be professionally registered either as a sole trader or as a legal entity, and be able to issue invoices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1783546574511{margin-top: 50px !important;margin-bottom: 50px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column]<div class=\"dt-fancy-separator text-big\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><div class=\"dt-fancy-title\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span class=\"separator-holder separator-left\" style=\"border-color: #4C684D;\"><\/span>What the Programme Offers<span class=\"separator-holder separator-right\" style=\"border-color: #4C684D;\"><\/span><\/div><\/div>[vc_empty_space height=&#8221;15px&#8221;][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;zoomIn&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;]The residency programme includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>access to rehearsal and presentation spaces, according to an agreed schedule,<\/li>\n<li>use of available basic sound and lighting equipment,<\/li>\n<li>the possibility of advisory support and feedback from festival collaborators during their stay,<\/li>\n<li>the amount of \u20ac4,000, total cost inclusive of VAT and all taxes and legal deductions, covering remuneration, travel expenses (transport, accommodation, and subsistence), as well as any production costs, during the residency.
