The 2026 edition of CANAL was dedicated to Balkan countries, highlighting contemporary artistic voices from the region.<\/p>\n<p>The Greek participation was realised in collaboration with the French Institute of Greece, the French Institute of Serbia, and the Teatroskop network.<\/p>\n<p>The Kalamata International Dance Festival presented two works by Greek choreographers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><i>The Riddle of the Forest<\/i>, commissioned for the Festival\u2019s 31st edition\u00a0 (2025), created by choreographer Nancy Stamatopoulou in collaboration with photographer Tasos Vrettos<\/li>\n<li><i>Mountains<\/i>, by the group Garage 21, choreographed by Mary Rantou and performed by Evangelia Rantou, which was also presented in the summer of 2025 at the Venice Dance Biennale<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The programme was implemented ith the support of Teatroskop, a programme of the French Institute, the French Ministry of Culture, and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifg.gr\/news\/elliniki-antiprosopeia-programma-canal-2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.ifg.gr\/<\/a>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row equal_height=&#8221;yes&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1783815346039{margin-top: 50px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column css_animation=&#8221;fadeInUp&#8221; el_class=&#8221;columna3&#8243; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1621924248021{padding-right: 40px !important;padding-bottom: 40px !important;padding-left: 40px !important;}&#8221;][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;57628&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;3\/4&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]Participation in the CANAL 2026 programme.
