This led to the birth of the Kalamata International Dance Festival which quickly established itself as an important part of the national and international contemporary dance calendar.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2025, the objective has been the activation of the International Dance Centre throughout the year, beyond the summer festival period, through the development of a network of synergies with both national and international and artistic institutions.
