<\/span>Bio<\/span><\/div><\/div>[vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

Alexis Tsiamoglou<\/b><\/span> works as a choreographer, dancer, and video artist, and is a PhD candidate in the Department of Architecture (Aristotle University). He was awarded a scholarship from the Choreographic Arts Centre in Amsterdam (SPAZIO) and an artist fellowship by ARTWORKS. He is a member of Sinequanon, with whom he choreographs in recent years. His short film <\/span>Deep Outside<\/i><\/span> (2024), which he directed and choreographed at Diavata Prison, received an honorary distinction at the 2nd International Karditsa Festival and was screened at international festivals. In 2019, he participated by commission in the 7th Biennale of Contemporary Art of MOMus. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

He has collaborated with artists and groups on productions for the National Theatre of Greece, the National Theatre of Northern Greece, the Athens & Epidaurus Festival, the Kalamata International Dance Festival, Megaron \u2013 The Athens Concert Hall, Onassis Stegi, the Goethe Institut, and the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation. Since 2008, he has been teaching contemporary dance within the framework of the ERASMUS+ program, as well as in dance education programmes, including at Diavata Prison.<\/span><\/p>\n

Passing Through<\/i><\/span> is an improvisation method developed over the past three decades by David Zambrano. Its structural elements are walking, running, and pausing. Through exercises such as leader\/follower, over\/under\/around, inviting\/being invited and flocking, we explore how a group of people can create a dynamic environment that is constantly changing and evolving. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Participants are confronted with the decisions they make within the group without ever getting lost, as they are continuously either following or leading\u2014until the group becomes one entity.<\/span><\/p>\n
