Kalamata Dance Megaron

MUSEUM OF CYCLADIC ART & KALAMATA DANCE FESTIVAL

KIDS’ ART EXHIBITION: THE HUMAN BEING AT THE CENTER

About the exhibition

For the fourth year in a row, the Kalamata Dance Festival joins forces with the Museum of Cycladic Art within the framework of the 10th Ιnternational Κids’ Αrt Contest presented by the Museum, entitled The Human Being at the Center

The contest’s young participants were asked to capture the role of Humans through their journey across cultures, different eras, space and time:

Which era do they live in?
What kind of clothes do they wear?
What country are they from?
What kind of social message are they passing on?
Can we imagine what their future may look like?
What kind of environment will they live in and what will be their profession?

This year, 300 children from the wider area of Messinia participated in the Museum’s Kids’ Art Contest. All of their works are displayed in the kids’ art exhibition also titled The Human Being at the Center, which is being held at the Foyer of the Kalamata Dance Megaron from 14 to 23 July. The young participants will be able to view their works throughout the duration of the Festival.

Admission to the exhibition is free on a first-come-first-served basis.
