Program Dance in the city
AMAE questions and investigates co-dependency in human relationships. The desire to be loved and to indulge the other. The wish to be completely surrounded and feel at one with the other, while choosing to ignore the objective reality of the outside world and avoid all confrontation. From a certain perspective, this might be perceived as a warm, deeply human behaviour, one that brings us into harmony with others and allows us to rely on them. From another point of view, it might appear to encourage self-indulgence, dependence and control. How far can this need take us before love turns into hurt, before care becomes obsession and before support devolves into control?
Admission to all Kalamata Main Square performances and side events is free for all.
