About the performance
In looking for simplicity we find complexity. In Hito, Akira Yoshida and Chey Jurado coexist as two friends, looking for something as simple as living. They gain closeness and support, but also grow apart.
The performance Hito by Akira Yoshida and Chey Jurado is presented at the 27th Kalamata International Dance Festival with the support of Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) through the Programme for the Internationalisation of Spanish Culture (PICE), in the framework of the Mobility grants, as well as the Embassy of Spain in Greece and the Cervantes Institute.
Akira Yoshida and Chey Jurado started out with Breaking before delving in the performing arts. They have worked together with Roberto Oliván and separately with La Veronal, Lali Ayguadé Company, Hungry Sharks, etc. Currently, they perform and teach workshops around the globe.
